ive heard the flex blades (the ones without springs) are pretty back because they form to the shape of ice that builds up on the windshield and never go back

I've tried a lot of different styles of blades, some are definitely better than others;
but I can't really say that any blade is 'the' winter blade above all others.

I just tried a set of the new "Armor All" blades for my truck and they work like crap. They didn't even contact the windshield completely across the blade surface after I just installed them. Ima taking these back ASAP. I wonder if they will let me return them.

wow, if they're that bad outa the box Sam, I'd hate to see what they'd be like after a few months.

If you just got them, I would think you should have no problem taking them back.

I just put on Bosch Evolution on my DD = Altima and they seem to work very well.

No, the icons are still available. I think these are considered one step below the Icons which I couldn't easily find around here.

Wallmart sells the form fitting blades I can't remember what brand they are off hand but I've been using them for at least 4 years on my cars and there great! The package is green but can't remember the brand.

I had a buddy grab a pair of those flex fitting ones- they were garbage... at least on his vehicle- which wasn't an infinity believe you me. I mean really, really poor... so I'd think twice about those unless someone in here has actually used them on a G and found them to be outstanding?

I've never used them either- to be true... and I'd driven in the vehicle with him (a jeep cherokee) a couple years back. Has it been improved since? No idea... but take a hard look at them first!

Thumbs up winter wipers vs. beam blade wipers

The winter wipers work very good but look like crap. The new beam blade wipers work like the winter wipers because they don't have frames that ice and snow can freeze inbetween. I live in Wisconsin and drive up to UP Michigan and Canada fairly often. I switched to trico neoform beam blades quite a while ago after trying icons. IMO they work great, are super quiet, look great and are the lowest-priced top-of-the-line wiper available. They're not perfect in winter but work a ton better than the old school wipers. The best part is if they do get ice, one snap and it all breaks right off.

Okay- not to hijack the thread but do you guys all use different blades for winter / summer? What do you like for summer / anyotherseasonbutwinter blades?

I've been holding off on buying any until I got some feedback because I know about as much about wiper blades as I do about tampons. Actually, come to think of it thanks to the internet and aggressive TV advertising campaigns I actually know an awful lot about tampons.

Okay... So to ammend that statement I know about as much about wiper blades as I do about turbos.

Yeah, that's the ticket.

Keep talking about winters! But, if someone has some feedback about other blades I'll be listening!
