Is it done, and what finally showed up?? I know, I know, if I'd come to RD a couple weeks ago I probably would've found out.

Installed my NRG CF hood dampers today. NICE! No pics til I clean my bay a lil, though.

 

real or fakes?? red35 just got his real Top Secret hood it took close to $4,000 and 18months to get it

Even speed star would have only charge 2100, he sure got ripped.

He may have had some other TS stuff (hood dampeners/pins ect)as well, I didnt pay or actually see the bill so i could be wrong but it was not cheap but after looking around it seems bullet proof would charge about $2500 or so shipped so he was likely in that ball park.

Good luck if you got it from Intense. I would never deal with them. All my stuff was about 3400 shipped and a 15 month wait. So don't forget to add shipping as Intense won't pay for that. It's another 500 for sure for shipping at least. If your worried about money when your spending this much on a hood then go by a Seibon version and call it a real TS hood.

 

Well it's half done. The car is running again at least with the new fuel system. New twin pump, regulator and lines. Just need some tuning now. Sasha is going to help me with that as well as Lightspeed.

So as Gord likes to spoil stuff my real Top Secret hood and dampers finally showed up. They are still in a box. I will take some pics soon as well test fit it on the car.

Bought a new transmission. Going on holidays hasnt got me much farther than that hah.

The good I am having it shipped to my US friend in Chicago so I am fine with it.

 

I am having my Motordyne Engineering 5/16 copper isothermal plenum spacer and Ichiba stainless steel high-flow Race Y-Pipe installed next week. I have N.R.G carbon fibre hood struts on order as well the front strut bar. I am also awaiting delivery of my carbon fibre engine cover and Nismo billet aluminum oil filler cap and radiator cap.
