is that the 1080 your talking about.

I'm all for personalizing/customizing your car, but does anyone else feel like vinyl cheapens and rices out a car? "Now more realistic fake carbon, for the look without all the pesky benefits of weight savings and quality!"
No one in particular of course, but I hear a whole lot of "don't civic out your G ricer" on this site for anyone who wants to paint their own wheels or grill, but then I see this... My (probably unwelcomed) opinion only of course, but I think this stuff really detracts from the class of our cars. Albeit, I have ghetto p/c black wheels...

YES! I've been waiting for this type of Vinyl for my rear Nismo apron on my G. When I painted it I did the whole thing in Silver and I want the Black strip back but I wanted to use the CF look. Might consider the Roof to but I kind of agree with 6MTKeith on the ricer look I'm more of the clean look rather than the tuner look
I think the CF wrap looks fantastic on interior trim and on rear diffusers like Roy said but not applied to large areas like a roof or real visible areas such as door pillars.
Real carbon fiber parts, now that is a whole new ballgame FTW.
If you want a black roof just paint it or wrap in regular black wrap not CF

The only thing im thinking about wrapping are my door pulls

As for the vinyl, does anyone know how this stuff compares to the Di-noc or 1080??

seems like a pretty cheap price. I wonder if it's the same as the 3M stuff they sell without the markup for the 3M name

If done correctly i see no problems with being called rice. Look at Bmpnride's car. He did the front chin, his hood, roof, and trunk. Car looks amazing and i think he wrapped all his interior trim and mirrors. F' what other people think if it looks good it looks good. Why does everyone need to approve of your car.
you know what, I was only thinking on doing the interior trim, but now that I see how it looks in these pics i dont think it's right for me

i dont now if that is Di Noc, I just assumed that he didnt go through the trouble of molding and coating that much actual carbon fiber
but if that is actual CB then i might rethink doing some of my interior trim, I just didnt like the shiny rice look of the trim pieces in those pics
