Hey guys,

I'm sure many of you have done this already but I'm looking to get new rotors for my Brembo G. I'm not really looking to get anything too fancy, because from what I understand the cross drilled "no name" ones can/have cracked...

What's a good OEM replacement that doesnt cost 400 a pair (brembo pricing)?

If there are any reasonably priced cross drilled ones that are known to be quality pieces I may be willing to pay a little extra (but function > form for me).

Check that site out... they are in toronto... and alot of people use DBA sooyou can possibly look into those rotors... i dont know anything about them but i know alot of people use em with no problems.. im sure you can get them cheaper if you shop around but yea heres a start... best of luck

 

You don't need to get brembo rotors, you can get DBA which are good rotors and probably cost you less.

 

+1 Not sure about the rotors but other stuff on that site is way expensive!

stoptech slotted rotors (for brembo) are relatively cheaper to replace. I'm on my 2nd set now (F&R) and they're holding up great with my hawk pads.

I would definitely talk to Blain about this. He can get some pretty sick deals on rotors. I'm sure he will chime in soon. Also, for the stoptech rotors. I would checkout conceptzperformance.com! I ordered my bbk from there and had nothing but a great experience!

 

I can get you EBC rotors for 385 plus tax, Stoptechs are about 410 plus tax, DBA 155 per front rotor And 155 each for the rears plus taxes.

The EBC's are slotted and dimpled, the stoptechs and DBA's are slotted

 

those arent bad prices...

Where do R1s rank among those you just mentioned (aside from DBA)...their pricing is great, especially with the additional 10% on ebay they are offering.

The slotted rotors actually end up being $282 plus 80 bucks shipping for a grand total of $362 (+Customs).

just google R1 Concepts, hit up their website and see what you want...also, on their Ebay store they have a 10% discount code.

I spoke to them on the phone yesterday and they were very good about explaining everything and providing the shipping quote.

I suggest if you order you do it over the phone, the answered within seconds.

 

Any particular reason for cross-drilled? Personally prefer slotted instead. I wouldn't say you're going to get a very noticeable difference in terms of performance at all from rotors alone, especially if it's not ever going to see the track.

Power Slot/Stop-tech rotors would be my suggestion.
