Buh-Bye Bimmer!!!
Buh-Bye Bimmer!!!
Hi All,
I just found this forum and am glad to see some Canadian content!!! I just picked up my Toreador Red / Graphite 6MT G35 with Nav last night. I gotta say, this has been a very suprising experience for me. My last 2 cars were a 00 BMW 328i and then a 01 5 series 530i sport. I read all the reviews about the G35c, and comparisons to the BMW's. I was very skeptical. The hardest part was that you can't find a G35c for a test drive to prove it.(in the Mississauga area) They are still selling with a 3 month wait and no test drives!! I can't spend that kinda dough without knowing what I'm getting. Then I happened to hit a dealer who claimed that they possibly had a deal falling through. I checked back with them on Saturday and my timing was perfect. I got to take the G35c out and BANG!!! Instantly converted. The performance aspect of the 6MT just blew me away. "THIS" is what I've been looking for. It's a thrill to drive. Anyway, enough babble. Just wanted to say "Hi" to the board. If you have any new owner advice on this machine, I'm very willing to listen. I hope I can make it out at the end of the month.

Hey CanG35c, Welcome to our forum. There's lots of us 'Canucks' on here from East to West bro. and yeh a 'few' in TO area too, hahaha
We especially love Bimmer converts. It says a lot about our trusty G's.
Give us an update on your empressions as the miles build. Good luck and enjoy your new ride.
In case you're not familiar with dealers in your area, these dudes know 'em all, should you need any recommendations.

Re: Buh-Bye Bimmer!!!
Congrats, I just got my Red 6MT Tuesday as well sans Nav. Only disapointment so far is it takes a bit more time to get the golf clubs / cart into the trunk than the Prelude. If thats the worst thing to happen, were laughin.
