Wider tires

I just wanted to see what you guys think. I need summer tires badly and say a decent deal.

2x 235/40/18
2x 265/35/18

Now does anyone know if these would work with the factory 04 18s?

Any input would be appriciated.
Thanks in advance

The rears aren't recommended for an 8" wide wheel.

Will they work, sorta. Will they look goofy, yes.

And theyll probably make your car handle like a wheel barrow.

My rears are 265 and they just push out past the rim. Doesn't look bad and i noticed no handling differences. My fronts are 225 still though.

I'm sorry but if you think a 275/40 on an 8" wheel results in good handling then you have never driven a well tuned car. Go drive a s2k or Z4 and come back and tell me your G handles well.

Sylvan on the other hand who uses those tires on his OEMs for drag racing is fine, but that's a straight line.

I think his question was, will they fit? yes. If you are using it for daily driving your fine.
