Subaru crash at CSCS this past weekend

I didn't end up going but did hear of a Subaru that crashed. Didn't know how bad it was till I saw this video. Thank gosh driver got out fine but wow

More than just too hot.
His line through the turn was completely wack.
Lucky he didn't take anyone else out.

This is a good example why I never go out on open lapping events.

It gets better....
The car was borrowed (brother's, out of town) & then loaned to someone else; the ID10T.

Isn't it the same, when you go into a turn too hot and don't have enough traction to properly make your line through the turn?

I would never go to events like this cause of that..... Too much bad drivers wanna be racers these days

Not really.
With the correct line you can carry a lot more speed.
