Pads for Canada
Pads for Canada
Hey there,
Hope this isn't too common a question, but I was just wondering if there are any after market brake pads you guys recommend for our relatively chilly/wet climate?
For example, I've read that a popular pad - Hawk HPS - may not feel so great in the cold
Any recommendations on after market pads or should I just stick with OEMs?
Oh, sedan, daily driver....defly not racing, though I wouldnt mind paying a bit extra for improved braking.
Thanks!

Just this past winter I put Brembo blank rotors and Hawk HPS pads in the front of my car (Coupe). I don't drive hard, just average.. and they have been fine so far (no noise, little dust). I haven't had experience with a lot of brands, but I have no complaints.

My HPS pads have been silent as well. I have seen some vids on youtube where peoples HPS pads were squealing badly. But there could be reasons for that... not installed properly, not bed-in correctly, not greased, etc..
