I have a 2007 g35 with only 77000km. I bought it few months ago and I'm having a transmission issue. I had it checked by an independent shop and also mr. transmission. They both pointed to the transmission, prob a gear missing. So anyways I was at the infiniti dealer and there saying that theres no issue in the transmission and that it's due to my modified exhaust and my front bumper being losee .

So yeh I think that they know that my tansmission has an issue but are trying there best not to admit it; like 95% of all dealers. Soo... Finally my question is.

Would my U.S car with 48000 miles be covered under the power train warranty? It's only an 07.. which would make it 4-5 years old.

Yes, I'm curious. I never had an issue with my U.S. FX35 at Markham or Alta Infiniti. 401 & Dixie gave me a touch of trouble and never went back. Going to try Oakville Infiniti tomorrow for my G35 S.

Powertrain warranties are tough as the manufacturer pushes back hard. The tech has to be able to reproduce the symptom and often the manufacturer will send out an adjuster to see for themselves before it gets approved. Quite the process. Just push harder. Be poilte but persistant.
