Our exact route back is still up in the air as to the exact road stops.
It is roughly as follows after we leave the Okanogan Valley in BC:
-Spokane, Washington
-Butte, Montana
-Jackson, Wyoming
-Casper, Wyoming
-Rapid City, South dakota
-Sioux Falls, South Dakota
-Waterloo, Iowa
-Gary, Indiana (the guys from a FX site I belong to want to have a meet with me in Chicago)
-Plymouth Michigan
-home in Ontario.
Wayne, i'd like you to keep me updated because when you come back across through South Dakota and Iowa, you will be very close to me. I'd gladly take a little half day road trip down to the 90 and 35 interchange in Albert Lea and meet up with you as it is only about an hour and a half away. You are one of the people on this forum that i'd LOVE to have the opportunity to meet! I'll send you a pm!

BTW I followed your trip and it looks like you drove through Duluth MN as well! My aunt lives in Superior WI. Could ahve met up with you up there! Usually go up a couple times a summer! Good roads!

Hi Guys, just arrived in Missoula, Montana. Time for a quick update.

It was a long day today.
Stayed in Grand Forks, BC last night, a great little town in the mountains.
Woke up this morning , washed the FX and got on the road around 9:30AM. Drove through lots of mountains today, from BC to Washington, (had lunch in Spokane) to Idaho, then to Montana. It was overcast and rainy through much of the run today. Drove just under 600 kms.
We now have put over 8,300kms on the FX this trip.

Just checked into a nice hotel in Missoula, going out for dinner and I will post a few pics later tonight if I get a chance..

Hi Wayne,
Looks like you have about 3000km to go (as the crow flies). I'm sure you'll enjoy every mm along the way.
Thanks again for taking the time and posting such great pics for us to see.

Thanks Paul, we have lots of places we want to check out yet.
We had planned on doing the Logan Pass route Logan Pass Route, but it still has up to 7 feet of snow on it (we tried it a few weeks ago when we were in Southern Alberta and it was closed). We are also planning on going through Yellowstone Park to see Old Faithful and also travel to Hardin to see the site of Custer's Last Stand and many other places..

I just spent 1 1/2 hours getting pics ready to post, then I wrote the post for this update and this Fu--in site swallowed it.
I give up.

Just an update, We stayed the last 2 nights in Gardiner Montana and toured Yellowstone Park in Montana/Wyoming for two days, just WOW, it was fantastic, we put on 450 kms just touring the park
I am still afraid to post pics (I have hundreds) ever since g35driver inhaled them and they disappeared in the Black Hole.

Today we drove to Cody, Wyoming, home of Wild Bill Cody. There is a 4 day celebration going on here with a pro stampede and the works.
I'm off for a swim in the pool right now.
