It's not OK to race just because you find a zone where the speed limit is higher than 50mph. Its only OK to race where there is no speed limit and in Ontario that is called a race track.
Hyundai Gen C is a pretty cool looking car too, so not much to make fun of there either.
Yeah, there should be a period there. I apologize if anyone is mistaking my reference.Originally Posted by rpm&my_G35

Additionally, I'm not implying it's okay to street race on roads that have a greater than 50 speed limit. I think everyone has a clear idea of what is legal and illegal with regards to driving, else we would not have our licenses. That said, there are smarter roads to show off your exhaust to the rest of the group and the highway would have been a better road choice to accelerate to 4th gear while still abiding by the rules. I don't think anyone is implying it's okay to turn Cambridge into Need for Speed in any circumstance.
And relax, I'm just trying to break the ice a little bit in this thread.

I don't think the thread should be closed. There's prolly more stuff to share but all the banter about racing can be dropped bc I think everyone has got their point across. Aman, you're definitely right tho, what a great meet and there definitely needs to be more of them. I've got a wedding to go to this weekend so I'm prolly out for CSCS.
Thanks for the positive comments guys. Much appreciated. Im absolutely torn on whether I should sell my car and move to something different or do a TT setup... Any thoughts?

you've put so much work into it so why would you sell it now? Plus you can't go wrong with 500+whp :P it will feel like a completely different car.Registered User

This is why I'm torn. The only thing is, the GTR is basically the same thing just with a couple fancy paddle shifters, a couple hundred extra horse and AWD. haha. Its either sell my car and get a GTR, keep my car and boost it, or just keep my car the way it is and build a drift car (S14).GI-44, I know boosting it would make me fall in love with it all over again but I feel like a need a new project. Even a big body sedan bagged would be interesting

Lol alright I change my mind... How about you slamm a GTR on bags??? Don't think you'll see that anywhere lol and get that password JDM exhaust

Bags on the GTR would be a downgrade in suspension. Not to mention entry level coilovers for the GTR are around 5k
If I did get the GTR I would throw the exhaust on, some legit wheels (not fakes like a local GTR
) and maybe a drop if the wallet allowed for it. The GTR in stock form is pretty badass all around anyways so even if it was stock for awhile I think I'd be ok with it... MAYBE.

lol yea was just kidding about the bags... would be unique though. A gtr would be a nice upgrade if you decide to sell. Beautiful car but then again so is your g35. it would probably suck to let that go.
