Hit and Run: body shop recommendation?

Unfortunately I got a hit and run last night and it dented and scratched my front left fender and a bit of the bumper.

This is my first time - can anyone recommend a good body shop in the GTA where you would brin to for popping up and dent and repainting it?

I don't want some cheap *** job but also don't want to do it at a dealer.

Any recommendation would help.

Also - I remember people saying g35 uses fiberglass body - can fiberglass pop up big dents?

Depends what your Collision deductible is. Also depends on what coverages you have. Some insurance companies will waive you deductible if you have a special endorsement (add-on) for your first hit-and-run claim.

I'm with Novex insurance and I know my $500 Collision deductible gets waived if the damages are in excess of $1,000.

Before you call your insurance company I'd suggest you get a quote see see how much it's going to cost.

forget the dealership.

if they don't have a bodyshop on-site they just refer it to whatever shop gives them the biggest kick back in the area.

if you can pm me more specifics on where you are i can recommend a CARSTAR for you to visit.

you can ask for two quotes... one for a flash-in paying cash or a complete insurance grade repair... slightly more. They can also advise on how / if to go through insurance depending on what company you are insured with. I can also recommend based on what insurer you have and which CARSTAR is approved with them.

I'm contemplating on CARSTAR or Heartland B&B Collision.

CARSTAR is a huge company in north america, but I also see that heartland B&B does the repair for subara and bmw mississauga.

Anyone tried Heartland B&B?
