Useless cupholders!!!

does any one else find the 2003-2004 G35 coupe cupholders completely useless and incapable of holding a beverage of any size whats so ever.. this is the second time ive had something spill lol
possibly even the second gen coupes have this problem except i cant remember if they were designed exactly the same way

I like my cup holders. They fit a gatorade if you pull the insert out as well.

Personally, I don't put drinks or **** like that that can't close in my car. So I've never spilled anything in there.

At first I thought the same thing, but then I removed the insert and it's fine now.

insert? there is the cup holder under the armrest and then the mini one just beside the e-brake.
I know the one beside the e-brake has the fold away tab but the one under the armrest has space for like one big drink and one smaller and no matter where you put it, on a turn it tips over into the other one

On G coupes 6MT and AT have different cupholders. I agree with OP if your referring to the MT though haha i have to put like a to go cup in the cupholder by the ebrake and then close the little door so it doesnt spill.

What is it about the 1st gen cup holder design that makes it so bad? Do you guys have any pics of it in the AT & MT?
I have never had any problems with the cup holders in my 2nd gen AT or MT. It will hold S/M/L Tims coffee cups or water bottles fine.

To fix the issue they just need to make the cupholders a bit deeper.. Something along the lines of Roseanne's vagina :P

Pay attention to your drinks and you shouldn't have any problems.
