Where do you buy your parts in Canada?

Hey,
I'm assuming a lot of people buy from the U.S, but are there any good places to buy in Canada?
I'm looking to buy full brake pads and rotors but not really sure about everything.

I posted this in the General section btw:

"Hi,
I've asked this before but finally narrowed it down to 3 choices for my brake pads + rotors.
Can you please tell me which option you recommened?
Or, if you know another place I can buy them, please let me know.
Thanks!

1) R1Concepts (I like it because its cheap but is it worth it?) (http://www.r1concepts.com/)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/FRONT-REAR-4...item5ae46e888c
- Price including shipping to Canada = $327.07

2) R1Concepts (http://www.r1concepts.com/)
http://www.ebay.com/itm/PREMIUM-SERI...item519cad06a5
- Price including shipping to Canada = $574.33

3. Autopartsway (Benefit is that everything ships from Canada)
EBC Brakes Front Disc Brake Rotor (Ultimax USR Sport)
EBC Brakes Rear Disc Brake Rotor (Ultimax USR Sport)
EBC Brakes Rear Disc Brake Pad (EBC Ultimax Premium OE)
EBC Ultimax Premium OE (EBC Ultimax Premium OE)
- Price including shipping to Canada = $591.96"

Get a quote not shipped to Canada but to a US mailbox like CBI (14303). I've gotten a few and the difference was sometimes $150+... Well worth a drive over.

dont buy ebay rotors....

i am 100% serious about this story; i used to sell brake rotors from an ebay seller who was based out of toronto. they rented a unit in the same building as kennedy hifi years ago.

i go in there to pick up a few sets of Z32 front rotors for 240sx brake conversions and no word of a lie, the unit is a bare block unit with a fold up table and a couple metal shelves. there is one asian woman in there who barely spoke english. i picked up my order and gave her the cash and hung around for 1 minute to see WTF was going on.

She goes in the back and LITERALLY has $10 blank china rotors on a floorstanding mastercraft drill press drilling holes into the rotors using a template that she sat over the face of the rotor.

When she was done that she had another template that she sat on the rotor and rattle canned the hub black or whatever other colour the person ordered... there were sets of rotors drying on another fold up table.

do not buy that crap. the pads are also economy pads with some fggt name.

i can get cad-plated rear rotors that are slotted (not drilled) for $100 a pair plus shipping. my supplier doesnt have front rotors in stock right now. this is non-brembo only.

use hawk pads... i've not been happy with my EBC's thus far.

Damn that's messed up.
I would have taken my money back asap.

But r1concepts seems legit so far. Theyre recommended a lot on these forums. Theyre based out of L.A but also happen to sell on eBay.

Pm sent for more info on the local pickup thanks.

R1 is legit, I believe they are Centric blanks and machine them themselves.

I get all my stuff from my friend Lou, owner of Rockstar Motorsports.

Blain (4DGS) worked for him a while back, he's pretty resourceful too when it comes to sourcing parts.

I use Autopartsway.ca for regular/routine maintenance parts. They ship free (>$75) and I get the order the next day. Prices are good.

Sorry to hear about that. He hasn't done anything to my G yet, he helped me out with a bunch of stuff on my old Jeep.
