Parts for Canadians

Hey guys,

Relatively new member here...haven't made many mods in the time that I've owned my G, but I'm starting to realize that its pretty tough for us Canadians to get used parts up here.

Our Classified section is more or less dead, and shipping rates from the States (especially for larger items like suspension parts) are insane.

Where do you guys go for parts? Any local (Toronto here) hidden gems? I'm just trying to find some lowering springs for my sedan without paying an arm and a leg...

See the forum classifieds or www.allofcraigs.com

Find the part. If the seller isn't willing to ship to Canada - there are places in Buffalo that offer parcel pick-up for reasonable prices.

Go down to the Falls for a cruise. Savings are worth it.

Any recommendations for shops across the border?

Also, what to do about declarations? Lie and hope for the best?

Order from our vendors on the forums.

Ship to Here: http://www.usaddressinc.com/ or here: http://cbiusa.com/
I use CBI since they hold your package for as long as you want with no additional fees.

Drive back, declare what you bought and be honest. CBSA agents are trained to look for the bullshit. It's not worth it to save a few $$ for a life long secondary searching.
