What happened the following morning? Lots of arrests

This is a prime example of douchebag college kids who never got a solid beating in life from either their parents or anyone. No respect for other people's property, no respect for authority. Truly spoiled brats.

I understand having a good time on St. Patty's Day, but this was a ridiculous extreme. I hope those arrested get the book thrown at them, that'll teach them.

Hopefully Vancouver PD sets a precedent following the ridiculous riots out here. People were turning in their friends, all video footage was scrutinized, and arrests were made for months after.

I didn't follow the events in London but suffice to say the news of drunken riots is getting really old.

the kids had 0 respect for anything, they were running in other peoples houses and stealing tv's and throwing them in the fire. my friend told me that the cops have been going door to door all this week lookin at the residents and pictures of "wanted" students. hopefully they pay for their actions

Friends of mine live a few streets over from where this happened. And they advised me that the London police are canvassing neighbourhoods across the city to find those involved.

I seriously hope they found all the turds involved in this sh!tstorm and make them pay dearly. Think of how much time and manpower the police service is using to find them. What people don't realize is that by them NOT telling police what they know or who they know that was involved, they're just hurting themselves.

Having trained and worked with many different police services, and as a future police officer (hopefully), I can't tell you how aggravating it is dealing with college/university kids. They all walk around with this sense of self-worth, and have absolutely no respect for ANY form of authority. They all put on this anti-police/anti-government facade, yet none of them have a clue of what's going on elsewhere outside of their "bubble". The minute they are separated from one another, they sing like canaries, but together, they are "strong and united".

Don't even get me started on the "Occupy" protesters...
