Paint Shop Recommendation in GTA
You need to seperate the inner and outer lips around the rear wheel arches, have the rust removed, then coated with POR-15 or similar. Then have the lips pressed back together, and seal them shut with seam-sealer (I have an unopened new tube if you are interested).

I had the same problem on my maxima - sold the car instead of fixing it though. That double lip that isn't sealed to allow debris/water to cause rust is such a stupid design. I remember seeing 02-03 maximas with rust back in 04-05.

Yes it has been awhile! Lol yeah things have but you haven't missed much. I got rid of my blue 4th gen but still have my black 4th gen which I use for a winter beater. It's starting to rust in the rear quarter panels though.
I don't have rust problems with my G but I did have an Oil burning problem (had to replace the engine). Hopefully this new engine doesn't burn oil lol.
