I personally think the E60 is the ugliest BMW to date. Right alongside the E9x.

Wait for F10 to get a little cheaper if you're wanting to go with a 5 series.

Disagree. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

I'm with audio on this. I love the previous gen 5 Series design. I like the F10 as well but the E60 had powerful, masculine lines and the rear is sexy as fack thanks to its tail lights. Throw a dual exhaust on that and the rear is perfect.

I like the E60 series as well.
....all except for those wing tip headlights, that kills it for me.

I agree the styling is a bit of an acquired taste, but I also thought that about the Gen II G sedan - so many curves that don't really gel. Kinda grew on me though.

I like the newest 5 series too, but it's well out of my price range. This one is loaded to the gills (Tech, Premium, leather +++) and still feels like a new car. And it's my colour combo of choice (never another black car for me...).

So, pin pulled and now it's in the garage. Well, this shows it in the driveway, but you get the picture.

It's certainly different.

I'll see how it does this winter with the AS tires. If poor, winters go on those OE wheels. Then something in an 18 (style 135 maybe) or 19" for summer. I won't be lowering it.

Cobb makes a rather interesting tune kit for it that takes advantage of the N54 twin turbo rather effectively from what I've read. Maybe a subtle exhaust too. It's already a rocket though.

Can't think it needs much else.

I lost count of the seat functions yesterday.

Sweet car! I love the styling. As far as people complaining about the headlights goes, the 2nd gen G headlights are very similar. I'm guessing it's the 535i? Post pictures of the interior...it's very luxurious but it doesn't have reclining rear seats!

Yes you can. I'd be concerned about over-stressing the autobox though. Maybe a subtle exhaust...
