Columbus automotive services

I'm looking for a good (and fairly affordable) mechanic in the GTA (preferably Mississauga end) and searching these forums looks like a bunch of you recommend Columbus Automotive Services (Ivo and Iggy).

Who gets their cars serviced regularly here? I contacted Ivo over the weekend and seems he is swamped a lot of the time.

Does he do good work on G35s?

I don't need anything major done, just regular oil changes and checks, etc.

Also, for those who have been here, how much does he charge for a regular oil change?

Yes I have been there for a compression rod swap. He was very professional and knows his stuff about G35.
His rates are very good as well, you should check it out.

he's done a number of things for me, most notably a motor swap as my previous motor was burning oil. No problems whatsoever with his work and his prices are good.

never got an oil change done from him so can't help you there in regards to price.

been regular of Ivo(iggy is gone) , yeah he is busy but he can still accomodate you(not all time but minor stuff he lll always find u a 20-30min to take a look at), i have done my brakes, window motor, exhaust leak, oil jobs with him. his rates are reasonable, and he knows what he is doing. he deals quiet a bit with bimmers too, i think he used to work for Infiniti. he is servicing my friend's altima as well.

Did my oil change with Ivo and made the switch over to Synthetic.

He used Valvoline SynPower 5w30. Anyone else use that oil or have any comments on it?

The filter he used was some Canadian brand I'd never heard of "GK Industries". Anyone heard of it/use it?

Stand up guy tough Ivo. Straightforward and knows his stuff. Two bimmers came in to his shop while I was there. Oh and he used to work at Infiniti.

Also- does he provide service records? (In case I ever wish to sell the car it'd be nice to have). I didn't get anything from him.
