Enjoy your time away and make sure you have several beer for me.

Yes I would be interested in a meet somewhere. The only Nissan realated club I know of is the Atlantic Z one that I posted a link for earlier. I'm a member and the only G Coupe owner out of the 90 or so Z's of various vintages. As far as Infiniti or G meets specifically there are none I know of but I'll ask the dealer here if they're aware of any. In any event we should figure something out and post it here and on the Canadian 350Z/G35 site as well to increase interest.
Maybe we can do it after you return. Any ideas on location?

Well since there are no current meets in the maritimes, now would be a good time to get one going. I was thinking maybe meet in Moncton or Sackville...kind of half way point. I'd like to wait and have it whenever GSM makes it down this way.

[QUOTE=gsedanman]Hey guys,
I've missed a bit of this thread today. Had to get my Coupe certified and e-tested for my bro. Also done some advertising to sell his Solara for him. Then there was the snow to shovel, the kids to walk (twice), Mom to check up on, tax returns to finalize and send in, banking, market, cooking.................busy day.......
Good thing I don't 'work'.

Hey Canuck and RBull, sorry to say the storm that's dumping a few inches on us tonight and tomorrow will continue on to the east. But then you know that since you've been dumped on often this winter..... sorry guys.

We are supposed to get around 15cm, then ice pellets, and the rain....gonna be a messy day.

Just think how nice spring will be when she arrives. Hopefully we'll make it thru to enjoy it.

Canuck, sorry to hear of the minor ding, no biggie right? Lights are cheap and easy to fix. Well, easy to fix anyway.......

Got a new tail light off of ebay so its not too bad. There is also a small dent in the back quarter panel...not sure how much that will cost to get fixed.

That meet you guys may have after Canuck returns sounds good to me....lol. I might be in the neighbourhood myself. My trip east will be sometime next summer, may as well be at 'meet time'..

I would defintely like to have the meet when you come down this way.

Canuck, Only 39 more 'free' days..... Time is flying by..... Damn, 29 degrees after the cold and crap we've had here.....You won't be able to breathe in that heat...lol., but I imagine you'll get 'by' somehow....

Looking VERY forward to the warm weather...I cant even imagine what 30C would feel like...it seems like this winter has just been too damn long!

Hey Colin....
I feel your pain, in the wait mode.
You marking Xs on the calendar yet

The Toronto car show was a pretty good cure for the blahs
(although only temporary)
I finally got down to there on Sunday (last day)
They had a black beauty M45... amazing car.

I really felt sorry for the detail guys.
That thing was covered head to toe in greasy paw prints.

Good to hear you're back on line Colin. This whole new car thing must be interrupting your surfing time!
It's a bit messy here with the snow, freezing rain and high winds. I don't think it's going to wind up being too bad though. I was out with the snow blower this morning and cleaned up what was down- maybe 3-4 inches of super heavy wet frozen crap. Actually we don't have all that much snow left now considering what we've had.
It sounds like a plan to meet in the Maritimes. Sackville would be great for me Canuck. I can show you the way back here returning to Nova Scotia if that M will be slow enough to stay behind me!!
Colin, I might be in Oakville for a couple of weeks in May but not likely with the G. I'll probably fly down and rent a car. I'll know by end of this month.

Yeh surfing...I usually don't get much time to do that, but getting things done here at 'Driver' gets a little behind at times.
It'll be nice to get back to 'normal' again with all this 'M-excitement' going on.

Sackville used to have a military base there at one time. Still there? Sounds like a good spot to 'meet' and have a good lobster dinner (and brews of course)

Hahaha, no probs, I should probably set a good example and behave driving to Halifax, besides I think there's a button for 'Auto Pilot' somewhere on the M so I can sit in the back and watch movies. Wonder if there's a fridge?

Cool about the trip to Oakville. That's less than an hour from me. If you can break away from business for an hour, perhaps we can hook up for lunch or at lease coffee.
With me here, a lot depends on the weather, and how Mom is and whether she can dog-sit. Should be alright tho.

Once your trip is set, let me know your schedule.

InTgr8r, yeh I'm marking X's on the calendar. Shouldn't be many more tho, for sure.
I'll bet the Black M was cool at the auto show, and I can well imagine it being covered in fingerprints (and coke, and mustard, ..........)

Your mid pipe is still here, I'm sure it'll fit in the M for a meet somewhere down the 401. (maybe Milton for coff.).
I'll be in touch when 'the ride' arrives.

Canuck, I've got the same sentiments, tho I'm not so polite.....&*%&$^*
Spring better do so soon....

More later
Colin

I'm getting aluminum accents with the graphite interior.
Apparantly the Sport models don't come with the rosewood.
I've not had wood b4, and it looks like it'll have to wait.

I'll make do.....

yeah, G meet would be great, for the four of us

there has to be more though, when i got mine at o'regans they had at least a dozen there. i guess they either don't have the internet, or aren't as much of an enthusiast.

i'm hoping to get mine back in early april, but it all depends on the roads and when everyone else wants to get theirs out of storage. i have to get to o'regans sometime in april for my 1 year check-up though, so i booked time off from work for my 'car appointment'
and yes, winter sucks, but luckily we didn't get as much today as they thought we would.

Jeremy,

Spring will be nice and especially welcome this year . let's hope more G's get wind of our meet and make the trip too.

When your at the dealership, leave a post-it on their bulletin board to alert other G's in the area to contact you.

Are you near Canuck (Rothesay) or north?

Colin

I was hoping you would chime in on the G meet! I kind of figured you would be up for it.

GSM, Jeremy is just a matter of minutes from where I live...pretty much the same area. I sure am excited to see your M when you come down this summer! My fiance noticed a M35x over the weekend where we live and she really loved it. I have yet to see one in person yet.

yeah, i could pretty much yell and canuck could hear me.

if we have something planned by the time i go to the dealer i'll definately put up a notice. if nothing is firm by then, i'll at least leave the website.

it was hard to think about spring today...had another 5-10cm of snow, ice and rain. roads were a mess...again.

after i get my service done i'm going to have to get started on installing all my parts i've bought over the winter. still haven't gotten around to ordering the clear corners yet, the place i want to get them from only takes phone orders and i've been working so much...oh well, lots of time for that before spring gets here.

Gentlemen,

My first post, so be kind

Fairly recently moved from the T.O. area to Fredericton, so I am hoping to see some of the Maritimes this summer.....in my new G of course!! Ordered her through O'Regans last weekend and get her either April 23rd or 30th.

So, if y'all do end up with a meet in Moncton or Sackville and yah need another G to round things out...well just let me know

Cheers
