Front Windshield Replacement...
Hey Guys,
Well, it finally happened to me the other day travelling north on the 404. My G
took a bad hit in the windshield from a stone( I'm guessing since I couldn't see it comming). I didn't notice until this evening that my windshield is starting to crack both vertically and horizontally (Sorry, no pics available) right at the middle part of the glass. I guess that I didn't see the crack originally since it started behind my rearview mirror.
Anyways, anyone in the immediate Toronto area have any suggestions as to what auto glass repair shop to use?
Does FXauto replace windshields? I might as well get my windows tinted at the same time too!!!
Thanks to all that can help!!!!

I don't think this is fixable. I was at Apple Auto Glass about 3 months ago for a stone chip. Yes they fixed the chip but I would not think that the same process could repair the crack, its too big.
I really didn't like Apple Auto Glass. It wasn't very professional appearing when I walked in( just my opinion).

I checked this out with a previous car; they can't fix
anything that has started to crack. They can only fill a chip.
As far as shop recommendations I'll ask arround.
Also, I seem to recall that there are a couple of different makes of windshield.
One is better than the other, I'll see what I can find out.
