Thanks Guys!!

They are HPD MSR Wheels.

Front: 19 by 8.5 Offset +42 - Hankook K104 245/35/19

inTgr8r, isn't the wait killing you? I know how you feel. My wheels were delivered to me on Christmas Eve, and I got the tires mounted and installed last Monday.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that your tires come in today!!

Looking good man, hows the ride on the 19"s? Also how are the Hankooks, I was looking at them and they are cheaper by about $100 per tire compared to the Toyo T1S.

After driving around with the Eibachs for a few weeks with the stupid pot holes all over the place I wussed out and ordered some 18" ROJA Fomula 7's today, too bad they won't get here in time for this Sundays meet. But I will definately look forward to checking out your rims in person and everyone elses rides.

The ride is better than I expected. You definitely feel the road, just like I expected, but people have told me the ride will be harsh, etc.. I did not find this to be an issue. Pot holes are crazy on the highways now, (knock on wood) so far so good!

The Hankooks are great tires. These tires are like glue, they stick to the ground. I would recommend them.

Great wheels bro....19's are real sweet. I have them on my M...and yes the ride is different than the Coupe's 18's.. I can feel every bump and seam, not harsh tho. I like all the feedback.
Only thing I worry about is hitting a large pothole-- there just isn't that much rubber there to protect the rim.
The road hazzard warranty I bought from the dealer should cover any damage tho. (underwritten by Coast to Coast).

I look forward to seeing your wheels at Sunday's meet.

Colin

zicog35, hopefully you'll have your new wheels on for the meet. I can tell you, people's heads turn as I pass by or pull up to them.

Are the T1-S still available?? A local shop I checked out said they are now shipping T1-R and they claim it is a much better tire.

As for Hankook, I read number of reviews and they were rated average... but like you said, at a savings of $100 per tire it may be worth it.

Being on the Wet Coast, we need a tire with excellent water channelling. Any feedback that PDT can give us on the "wet handling" ??

The T1S are discontinued like you mentioned and are replaced with T1R. I was calling around today, and Falken Fk-451 & Hankook 104 were both back ordered at least for the size that I needed. Ended up ordering some Yokohama AVS ES100 which surprisingly were in the same price range as the Falkens and Hankooks, and about $500 less (for set of 4 + mount and balance etc) than the Toyo T1Rs. Hopefully they will come in tomorrow and be mounted on Wednesday.

After our weekend of Rain here in Ontario, I did not have one issue with my tires. Tons of water on highways, and I was driving with ease. I had to do some maneuvers to avoid dumb drivers that were not looking and almost side swiped me, but these Hankooks performed very well. It was like the pavement was dry around me!!

I heard mixed reviews with these tires as well, but the guy I bought the tires from has them mounted on his BMW and he loves them. He also recommended the Nokian winter tires to me and they were great in the snow, so after he recommended the Hankooks, I figured, why not try them out!

Thanks for the feedback PDT !!
I have 44,000 Km on mine and will need new rubber by end of summer -- don't want to go another wet winter on the OEM tires. Will probably go +1 on the sizing at the same time -- just need to find some rims I like at a good price.
