JDM Battery Cover

Can anybody tell the best place to pick up a JDM battery cover from, or if anyone is looking to get rid of one I would be interested.

Thanks in advance

I just ordered mine today from www.grubbsperformance.com
$49.99 USD + shipping. They have them in stock and do not need any modifications to fit.

It covers the space on the right side of the engine bay where the brake fluid resevoir is. Japanese cars have the battery on the right side. Cosmetic purpose only.

I installed one about 6 months ago. It will fit without any modifications, but....

...it comes with a bracket which requires drilling into the metal surrounding brake compartment. Not mandatory, but without it, the installation is a little flimsy.

Hey! This means I'm not going to be alone in having a 'balanced' looking engine bay here in Edmonton anymore!

Got mine yesterday and the fitment is not that great. Doesn't seem to fit the contours of the metal at all. It's about 1/4" off in places.

I've had mine for 5 or 6 months now. Fits fine to me. I had to drill two holes. One under the attachment away from the firewall (red circle). Look at the battery cover on the other side and you'll see the "L" bracket that needs to be attached to the metal surround. The other hole (yellow circle) was for a bolt to attache to a lip on the firewall. I like the balanced look much better than having one side covered and the other side not.

Yes... that is the drilling I referred to in my earlier post.
Good install Lou!

I just called Grubbs today and they said you don't need any modifications to fit. However, when I started asking them questions about installation, they mentioned I would have to drill a hole somewhere on the engine compartment.
