What do you guys think of organizing a G35 track meet at say, Shannonville or Cayuga (sp?) I would love to see the G35's run on the track. My friend and his buddies went to Shannonville one time this past summer and paid $40 (maybe more) each person each car for 3 hours of track time. We would need about 20-30 people though. Who would be interested in coming out to run on the track?

As tempted as I am to stretch my G35C on the track, I'll probably just enjoy watching the action. Is the G Track Day going to be on the same days as the Z Club Track days?

YES, but be sure to set up the rules. eg . no passing on corners, or passing on outside only, or straightaway pass only on left etc.

those who have not done this before will be surprized at how easy it is to outdrive the car under race conditions. Brakes will fade, suspensions that you thought were stiff will bottom out and wallow.

GREAT FUN, let's just be "carfull" not to harm these great cars.

I was at International Automotive and Custom today looking into some stuff for the stealth and I picked up a flyer for an even they host every friday at 7:00 at Cayuga ... They call it "Fast and Furious Fridays" .. spectators are $10 Car and Driver are $20.

not sure if this will just be 85 hondas with big pipes doing burnouts and quarters or if there is more to it.

I'd like to see how well the G handles as opposed to straight line runs.
