Motoring TV Car of the Year
Just saw the Motoring 2003 on TSN, and they are now polling for the Car of the Year award. G35 is nominated in the Luxury category along with A4 and Cadillac CTS, and not surprinsly, G35 is way ahead by some 30+ percentage points. You might be interested to get on their site and brows the polls, and look at the bottom of the page if you want to vote for the Car of the year by email. Think the prize is having keys to all the brand new vehicles shown in all categories for one day.
Motoring 2003 Car of the Year
G35: Black with Willow/Canadian Premium Package.
Z3: Silver with Red leather interior.

Re: Motoring TV Car of the Year
I didn't see that I am sure it would have cheered me up a bit from this recent scratch on my G.
As for the body work, after quoting from 5 different places, I dropped off my car yesterday to a shop that a friend of mine highly recommended. Hopefully it'll be done by Wednesday or Thursday. Total financial damage right now is $750 ( $700 labor, $50 parts which is the side strip molding). That's over $800 less then what dealers quoted me. It's a cash price so everything is included.
The money part is not the only thing that I am upset about. The car will never be the same to me no matter how nicely it's repainted. My heart still aches everytime as I passed by that scratched post in my underground parking It's like a permenant reminder unless I either move or repaint it too.
