Not for the faint of heart;
Here are phase 1 pics.

Holy Shiznit, What have you done!!!!!!

I just called K in to show her, and she said how can Ian do that? Will he be able to put it back together . She almost fell out of her chair.

You certainly are a brave man to tackle that job Ian. (By the way K and I were down your road on our way back from Peterborough last Thursday)

All I have to say is good luck to you Ian and that you must have a very understanding wife.
I love all the little surprises that you give us at G35DRIVER as to all the ongoing mods to your sedan. Everything that you have done has been very tastefull to the eyes.
I wish I had the time to do such fun things too.
Hopefully my sedan will look almost as good as yours one day.
Maybe you should change your name to the MODMEISTER.

Best of luck on your future mods!!
Bill

Your poor baby lost all her clothes. She'll catch a cold like that.

was there a car in the pics??? he,he!

I agree with Wayne, you're brave. I can't even get myself to take apart the passenger door panel to fix a couple of clips that rattle a little. But you changed my mind now.

Can't wait to see it done. BTW, are u using dynamat?

hehehe... I'm not sure that brave is the right word

The door panels are easy, the door pull trim pops off & there are three screws.
Then just pull panel off. It's held by spring clips. (10min max)
In the doors it's often the wire harness that rattles.
Get some foam weather strip with adhesive backing from Home Depot & wrap
the harness. Spiral around wire with foam side out.

I'm using B-Quiet products for dampening. Less expensive than Dynamat & from a Canadian source.
I'm using a different cellular foam product for sound barrier.
Also, using low expansion foam to fill cavities & voids.

I know it's hot outside, but the law does not allow for full nudity!! Only allowed to be topless. Btw, isn't this against forum rules?? Just joking.

Looks like you have a lot of work on your hands, good luck with the install. I would love to see the final product!

LOL, yes definitely XXX, but I pulled some strings and it's allowed.
I must say she does have some nice curves and 'charms'. [ogle, ogle]

guys.. she's stripped on the inside.. not the outside.. so in essence she has clothes on.. but not panties/bra.. whatever you want to call it

anyway.. i did something similar.. only in stages.. trunk one day, back seat the next, doors the next.. i didn't take out front seats tho and haven't done the front floor.. too lazy to, maybe when i'm bored enough I will.. it'll sound great after everything is put back together tho.. good luck with that
