I agree with you there Shane. This is the third province in Canada I've lived in and I've also lived overseas in two different towns in Germany. I'm proud to make Halifax/Dartmouth my home town for the past 24 years.

No doubt some 'native refreshment' and famous East Coast Seafood will be on the agenda once or twice.

Now there's a tempting thought....
Logistics would be a challenge... and 3000 km is a little far to drive... I'll have to think about it more seriously.

I was planning a trip to my sis is St. Cath. -- maybe I could combine the two. I'll have to do some more thinking on this. Sounds like a great plan though... hmmm...

Ian ...it's the next best thing, it's one of your loves ,how can you beat it .

K got a chuckle when she read this.

Heck I might as well show something from my window (home cause I'm retired) I have been trying to get a shot of these friggin hummers for days, and I managed to take these through the window yesterday.

Canuck, sorry for causing this thread to wander from your original shot of cruise ships in the harbour. Which, by the way we will be able to see with you in a few weeks

Great 'view' Ian..... I'll bet that 'whets' your appetite by 5pm. (not to mention it gives a little 'peace of mind' for the G's safety.)

Nice one Wayne...those little guys are so elusive and fast..... I get them coming to my sliding door to the patio while they look at my Geraniums, but to get a pic, I'll have to put a feeder up out there.(or put the Geraniums outside.)

Wayne, that's the best office picture yet. One that you can go right outside and enjoy the real thing anytime.
