Re: Grounding Kit Group Buy

Rumble:

Per your request, the lengths of wire that I have been using for #6 and #7 is 29" and 27" respectively. I believe InsaneAmine has also adopted my use of the full length ground to tranny, however, I am unsure re his length. Feed back from 2 ppl suggest that the tranny wire should be 2" longer, and I am currently taking this into consideration as others have reported no problems with the present length.
This information is posted on the thread, as well as the replacement hardware info.

GSM:

I have not been suggesting using Loctite, though it is suggested as an option. Some ppl have found that it can cause more problems (with the wrong kind, too much, etc.) I suggest torquing the bolts carefully and have yet to hear of one of the ground wires coming off. Also be sure you buy the proper grade of metric bolt (also on the thread).

Hope this helps guys, and please post your feedback on the Hyper-Ground Resource thread. The answers to many of your other questions should be there as well. Please understand that I would prefer to not provide tech support for a product that is being offered as a commercial venture if those questions have already been offered on the thread as I believe that the person offering the product should provide product support. I would prefer to continue to assist those of you that still require assistance in building your own sets, but please understand that I have only a limited amount of time to devote this which is the reason that I started the Resource thread.(My wife thinks I already spend too much of my time on the forum) I'd like to see the Hyper-Ground Resource thread continue to grow as one of THE sources of Hyper-Ground info on the Net.

Thanks.

Re: Grounding Kit Group Buy

How's it going everyone? Just wanted to say thanks for joining this Group Purchase on the G-Wires from Happies713. Did everyone email PayPal or send their Money Orders to Happies713 yet? Did anyone hear back from Happies713 yet? The orders should take about 1-2 weeks so please be patient. Thanks again.

Re: Grounding Kit Group Buy

Haha!! Nah, I oredered the other kits for my friend's rides. I drove to Shannonville from Markham and what a difference it made on fuel economy. I used to get 400kms on a tank of gas and now I can probably get 500+ kms. That was all highway driving, but I will report back on daily stop and go traffic later on.

Great! That's one of the first reports I've heard re better gas mileage! Please re-post this and other impressions on the Hyper-Ground Resource Thread if you don't mind. Thanks.
