Re: Preparing for 1st wash...

Hey you fellow-canucks,

I picked up my sedan this week, and am preparing to wash it for the first time.

I would like some suggestions on:

a. what car wash to use.
b. what waxes to use.
c. what cleaner to use for the wheels (which are full of brake dust)

I have read the forum on "detailing" so I am aware of what products are being used, but I imagine a lot of those products are found in the U.S. and therefore may not be as accessible north of the border.

BTW, I am in Vancouver.

Thanks.

Re: Preparing for 1st wash...

I use Mothers car wash and carnuaba wax on my silver G here on Vancouver Island. I also wax the wheels and almost all the brake dust comes off with a strong hose spray.

I have used Mothers for years now and I like the ease of use.

Dave
