Went for my 6000km oil change and small check up and got the service department at Alta Infiniti (Toronto) to order me the "new" clock replacement. That's right, they have a fix for the clock and I will be getting it installed when they call me back. They couldn't tell me if it was white faced or black, but is supposed to be better than the one we have now. I'll update you on when I recieve the clock and have it installed and the obvious, post pix when I get it. Apparently, my car was made after the fuel line recall so my car is safe from that.

You mean that the grayish face is not the current one? I ordered mine at the beginning of November and it was just being built...you'd think they would put that in at that time.

Stock one that comes with everyone's car is black faced. I've never seen a grayish one before.

Rumble, can you ask exactly what they are replacing? I ask them a month ago and they said they didn't have anything. I have the 2003.5 G so I'm not sure if this applies only to 2003 models.

I just picked up a G35 demo with 8000 KM and can't wait to have this clock thing replaced.

 

Hmmm let us all know please what colour the background is....if it's white I'd definitely be interested in the change.

kinezo > I don't really know much about the clock and replacement parts, all I know is that they have ordered the parts for it for it to be replaced. I'm sure the 2003.5's have the same clock as the 2003's.

Pharkas > Yea, the stock clock is rather dim at night. I hope to get it asap as well.

I believe this is the new clock to be replaced into my car. I saw this clock at the Detroit Auto Show on all the G35's and they all have thicker hands. I still haven't received a call from my dealership yet...sheeesh [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

Hey Rumble & Gordgee, That pic looks the same as the clock in my new Coupe. Hands are a little thicker, light a little brighter. Not a whole lot better than what I had b4 in the Sedan so don't expect much (when it finally comes in)[img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
