It's nearly here. Batten down the hatches. Fortunately it's not the big one like Juan!

The G is in the garage safe and sound sleeping.

I made it out of Orlando yesterday morning just by a hair!!

I was extremely nervous taking off yesterday in the plane because the front of the hurricane was starting. I still couldn't believe they were allowing planes to take off.

Anyways, after a bumpy takeoff, I made it home safely. Actually, by the time I landed in New York two hours later, the Orlando aiport completely shut down....so I know I got out of there just in time.

Way to go Shane. You're fortunate to be home now and not in Florida.

I guess you guys won't have quite as much of this as we are supposed. As of now it's only light rain, 26k winds and 7 degrees.

Deane,
Yikes, I hope all goes well for you Deane......The last report I heard (this morning) was that Wilma will pass you guys further south than originally predicted so less severe than anticipated.
Let's hope she loses more of her power in the meantime too so she won't cause much more fuss.

Shane, lol, that was close.......I'm a nervous flier at the best of times,-- I'm not sure I could have boarded under those circum stances..kudos for your bravery.....

.......but then I see interviews of the pilots who fly through! storms like Wilma and wonder what the heck I'm worried about. Nothing could be worse than that.......and they make it back ok.

Stay safe guys and gals.....we're thinking of you.
Colin.
