How is your insurance company "urging" you to return to stock? Are they threatening to drop you as a customer? Raise rates? What company are you with? Good/bad driving record?

Sorry about not being able to provide any help with your request, but I'm just curious.

springs?

hi there,

indeed ..they are doing almost everything
1) increasing rates
2) non-renewal

well.. i guess it is just state farm..
but the problem is, since i am still under 25
and had been involved in an accident, it is
hard for me to change into another insurance company

so..i guess i will have to return stock
and do a good alignment...
but i dun wanna go to dealership
since they wont listen to me..they will just
adjust the specs according to what they know
it should be

thanks again,
Godmans

Why do you want the coupe springs? I still have the OEM springs from my old '03 if you want them.

Check your PM.

hey Chico,

thanks for your offer..
I indeed have the stock springs
but figured out might want a slight drop
lol...
(you know the modding bug in our hearts that never go away?)

anyways, after one whole morning of seeking
they are either busy..or they have time that doesnt fit mine
so i ended up going to yorkville..
made an appointment for tmr morning 8 am...
hopefully they can help me out to swap my springs back...

is it really that hard to swap the springs?..

and then i would have to do an allignment later lol..
but i am not sure where should i go tho

any suggestions?

Did you get a quote from Yorkville?
Almost any shop worth its salt can do a spring change.

I've changed them on my car a couple of times myself, pretty easy to do.
Then I had the alignment done at my dealer.

Just curious, how did the insurance issue get started??

well
the insurance issue got started..because of my accident
then the stupid body shop tried to ask state farm for money
for my aftermarket ****...(which they didnt have any damage
on it at all.. except the rim)

and then the adjuster came and took a bunch of photos of
my modified suspension..then everything got screwed up following that
..
obviously, they are against my lowering...
and i cant change insurance company...

because of me being under 25..and a bad driving record.

Anyways.. this really haunts me...
and now i am even missing a middy for my stock exhaust..
anyone know where i can pick up one really quick within GTA?

regards,
Godmans

Sorry to hear about all these problems.
But it sounds like you're doing the right thing.. get it back to normal & let the dust settle for now..

What year OEM midi do you need?? (no sigs )

[edit]OK got it in the other thread[/edit]

05 middy

so you mean the 05 sedan middy doesn't bolt right up
between the 03-04 y-pipe and rear section?

pretty sure the '05 midi is the same size.

I know Chico put a coupe midi on his '05 for a while;
so it must be the same length.

I think the '05 rear muffler has longer tips due to the bumper change,
but that's all.
