Yes Shane that was absolutely incredible. My back ached for weeks. The snowblower was pretty much useless.

That year it took until May 13 for the snow to melt. I remember since my birthday is the 11th and my dad's is the 13th.

Let's hope there is no repeat of that monster.

I can only imagine that your back ached for weeks!! Those are some pretty crazy pictures of the TransCanada coming into Halifax eh!

No kidding. There weren't many machines they had that would actually cut through.

I get shivers just looking at those pics too.....yikes .... I've not seen anything like that since I lived in the Ottawa Valley in the 50's and 60's.... man did it snow there.

(......and I don't want to see it again...... )
