HID warranty question

hi guys, i have a 03 sedan and today i just noticed one of my HID headlight turned purple. I'm guessing one of the module is busted. What i want to know is, is there a warranty on headlight? if so, how long?

thanks!
Jerome

hmmmm good question.
My guess would be no warranty on the lamp.
The ballast may be covered though.

I'd guess the bulb warranty wouldn't go past 20k/1yr. but the ballast will be covered.
Tell us what you find out, and g/l.

Are you getting looks from all the kids in the rice rockets?

I can just imagine the stares you must be getting from the tuners, who are thinking you put in just ONE 8000K or 10000K HID bulb in your headlights!

sorry, the part i meant was the bulb.
now i don't use the auto headlight function anymore and turning the headlights off before i shut off the car. I'm scared the other one will burn out as well.

$300 for just the bulb. Ouch, that's going to hurt when mine needs replacement....

Take it back to the dealer, they may have missed something.
