Transport Canada issues latest recalls


Ottawa, Ontario - Transport Canada has issued its latest recalls, which may affect some Audi, Volvo, Saturn, Bentley, Honda and Nissan/Infiniti vehicles, and some Cooper tires.


2003-2006 Infiniti FX35
2003-2006 Infiniti FX45
2003-2004 Infiniti G35 coupe
2003-2004 Infiniti G35 sedan
2003-2004 Nissan 350Z
Vehicles affected: 16,387

On certain vehicles, the fuel filler hose may crack from exposure to ozone. This could cause fuel leaking from the hose while refuelling. The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will illuminate; fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire. Dealers will replace the fuel filler hose.

 

Just as an fyi for folks with 03-04 G35's if you had the TSB performed where they fixed the problem with the tank only filling halfway they may have also replaced the filler hose. They did when I got that tsb done.
