Kind of goofy review. The guy seemed to like the important stuff but was hell bent in finding little things he didn't like the brake lights, door opening lights.
Headline and close referred to it not beating the others in performance but he never did seem to even get around to reviewing that stuff.

That's what happens when non-carguys review cars, I suppose.

Thanks Albert.....The review seems fair considering the short exposure to the ride. I'm sure if he had it in his garage for a few weeks, that he'd be delighted with most of the car.
Funny, the one thing he criticizes is the performance, but as Deane says, he didn't get into it.....Perhaps if he did, he'd see that performance is one of its strong suits.....
Good review none-the-less..... Thanks for posting.

My test car didn't have the lane-departure warning system, ...but I'm skeptical that it would work on snowy roads.
What? It can't see through layers of snow??? What a POS. Guess what, it doesn't work when you are upside down either...

The test car also didn't have the intelligent speed control, which automatically maintains a safe distance behind the car ahead of you...It's too disconcerting when the vehicle in front does something unexpected, like starting to go too fast around the curves on a two-lane highway.
Right. As if the car will start matching the car move for move, up to any speed imaginable.

Obviously this is meant to match cars in front of you that decelrate while you are in "cruise" mode so you don't plow right into them...not meant to match ones that gun it and whip around corners

Apparently he thinks they invented the perfect automatic tool for driving your car on the race track!

a real spare is now a $200 to $300 option!
Shockingly that's also the cost to replace any of the tires on any performance car.

LOL!! Some good points.

Colin, does yours have the lane departure stuff? The autocruise thing?

It's got all the bells and whistles, including LDW, and Intelligent Cruise, active front lighting, rear steering, -- The sport here in Canada comes only one way .. 'decked'... so you don't get a chance to pick and choose.

I'm not sure that the LDW would sense lines thru ice and snow.....I'd guess and say if it's over an inch or so, that it won't.....

The Intelli-cruise is cool and a real convenience if you want CC in moderate traffic.
