I looked at the meanings for ICB and
http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/ICB
realized you must mean Ice Cold Beer. I didn't forget it but had to wait as I did the mod at 10:30 this morning. Having the ICB now.

Same here. If the cover was hinged I would do it.

^ that would be nice.

I never use the door lock, so I'm going ahead with this.
I just need to be able to get in to it if the FOB battery fails.
I was thinking about duct taping a pry blade somewhere on the car.

Seems to me a little knife blade would work well. I'm gonna look for one to put on the key chain.

Hey... props for searching for this old thread.
Sorry but it's a no, the door handles are a completely different design for the 1st gen sedans.

...IDK if you could change the whole handle surround piece or not;
but if possible you'd have no way to get into the car if the fob failed.

With this cover mod, we can still pop it off to expose the keyhole if necessary. (I have it on my 2nd gen)

Another old thread bring up, but this is the closet thing i found in search to my question.. I have a 2003 coupe, and the keyhole cover is loose, and easily pops off, exposing the key mechanics and they seem movable, this makes me feel unsafe for thief's,

Do I need to snap the key cover on harder? Is it normal for the exposed key hole seems moveable?
