Episode 2!!!

Hey guys,

Episode 2 will be airing this evening March 8th on Speed Channel at 7:30pm Est. I hope it will be a little longer than the last episode.

I think you will see the car at the skid school being ran through it's paces bone stock!

Chris

Chris, I'm going to have to miss this one. Are they doing a repeat on Thursday?

Great, Chris. I've got the VCR set to record in case I get busy....

Blackie, I think the same showing is on Saturday morning sometime. You'll have to check Speedchannel's sched. I'll have a look later and post if I find out.

Yeah, not much yet on the G's.

Chico, I've only seen a few episodes of Pinks. That show is hard to believe. The guys that come on there must be crazy... risking their cars or bikes like that.

I watch it all the time. I think it's great but you're right, it takes a lot of guts to risk losing your car or bike.

Especially when a lot of the values are not equal. I couldn't put up a real nice unit when all you're going to get on the other end is a fast POS and a bit of bragging rights.

LOL, no tears yet (that I saw), but some beat down egos tho....

Some of the rides have a lot put into them and are full out drag cars that can turn 8 or 9 second quarters, but like Deane said, there's some junk too that aren't worth much except maybe the motor has some parts, and maybe a set of slicks.
I've seen some nice bikes tho, one which touched my heart: a '83 GS1100E Suzuki .. capable of 10 second quarters, beat out a new Harley sport bike -- I forget the name now- but worth over $20k...The Suzi was worth maybe $6-$8k...

Good show tho, lots of fun, and everyone seems to have a good time at those meets... Until the keys get handed over at the end......

i saw the go-kart ep and some mustang ep. The mustang ep was pretty crazy since they had to find and replace a drive shaft in something like 15minutes.

Hey Chris, watched your car at the track and slalom a few nights ago. What a nice job on that car. Congrats. It looks and sounds fantastic.

I'm sure it works great too although the show didn't really give us enough real opinions or specific feedback on the car.
