Considering its $500...

In terms of bang for the buck, I think the feedback from what I've heard is quite good and think it would my first choice to try out - however if I had the cashola, I would seriously consider the $7200 to take the new Ferrari driving school and drive the F430!!

....now that would be some serious fun
You'd have to have your smile surgically removed after that one.

Forget the smile ( you get to keep it for 7 grand). They'd have to surgically remove me from the car and it wouldn't be elective surgery either.

u need to be a current ferrari owner to even be offered an invitation. they also say prospective buyer... but i'm sure this will be a very exclusive training club.

No, I checked the same thing.
Adv 1 looks like a waste of time.

You do need Adv 1 b4 you can register for perfection.
You can however register for both at the same time if you call.

Absolutely great day at the BMW driver training
They really run a first class program.

This was the AdvII class.
We got to play with the E90 330i... these were right out of the box, less than 500 km.

They ran with 2 instructors: Aaron Povoledo and Robin Buck.. 2 pretty talented guys.
They set us up 2 to a car and we alternated as driver/copilot.

This course is aimed at drilling the basics.
The time is spent on two skid pads (slippery as packed snow);
Weaving the cones;
& a finaly, a timed AutoX.

It was a really full day from 8:30 to 5:30....
I learned how many many bad habits that I have to work to un-learn

All in all highly recommended (as long as you aren't expecting track time)

Here's a few pics from today...

PIC-1 Chomping at the bit to get going.... part of the fleet in the background

PIC-2 This is what we play in the next time in PerfectionI

PIC-3 Skid pad working the Understeer

PIC-4 Skid pad working the Oversteer

PIC-5 Aaron getting ready to set the AutoX benchmark
