Dyno day?

Hello all,

Indeed, I know a shop in Woodbine and Steeles area that has a Dynojet (not 100% if it is dynojet), but I am very interested in bringing my car there for a few dyno runs, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of dyno place?

+ if anyone would also be interested...

very true bro. I like to think my car has 280 hp stock and the added hp claims with the mods I've done. So in my mind my car should be over 300 hp. If I found out it was way lower than stock like I've seen on this board with others, I'd probably sell it right away.

Guaranteed to be a lot lower than 280 since you're measuring wheel horsepower that accounts for parasitic (drivetrain) loss. You'll probably only see 225-240 hp.

I was at Evolution Tuning (or something like that) last week in Toronto. Talk to Marco. It's off Keele avenue. They have a dynojet and I made 450rwhp (or about 535 crank HP), here is the dyno sheet:

What a sleeper!

Where did you get everything done? Care to share the total cost for the turbo install/parts?

I did it all myself: http://www.science.uottawa.ca/~paul/G35/TwinTurbo/ . So no labour costs...

After everything was said and done, including the TT kit, exhaust, gauges, clutch, etc, etc, etc: somewhere around $15,000cdn.

Nothing at all, i have about 14,000 km since the TT install. Well, except the clutch, which I knew would not last very long. I replaced it with the ATS twin carbon and flywheel.

I'm not sure, I think it's around $80 for 3 runs and around $120 per hour. Evolution is located just off Keele st, south of the 401. I went there with Marco from Magnus Motorsports. The price I paid included the dyno runs and tuning adjustments (Unichip).
