When I had my car safitied a while back i did have to install amber bulbs to pass. Not sure why since it's clearly stated they can be amber OR white.

Your welcome
Prices are one of the reasons I decided to go with LEDs
They're about half the price

i was originally asking about the side markers... the lights on the side of the bumper - they don't flash when turning. those are clear now, and i'm pretty happy. the only amber on my car is the turn signal in front...

and after reading though the post, i really want to change them now to be either stealth or led...

so a few questions... is it hard to replace the turn signal lights with either? what's involved? i guess it would say in my manual, but i'm farther from my car than from my computer... it looks like there is an amber lens in front of the bulb... but that could just be a reflection

and Ian, do you have any pics of your headlights with either the stealth or the led signals in? lit or unlit (or both)?

No, sorry if I missled you, I only have the clear side makers with LED.
I rewired them to flash with the turn signal.

I was planning on clearing the headlight signals, but decided it wasn't work the trouble.
I fact I posted some pics of a unit I played with... it's in the CDN forum somewhere...
I do have the LED bulbs for this.. if anyone wants them.

What colour are the LEDs? Are they for the clear corners?

If they are available I'll take them!

I'm using the clear corners myself...
The extra ones are for the signal inside the headlight.....
From when we were going to do the Demon eye thing.
They're only of use to someone openning up their lights.
