Thumbs up Agincourt Infiniti

Last week had the car in to fix a rear clicking sound from the axle. Had an appointment first thing in the morning and was in and out in less than an hour. Happy with the service and will use them again in the future.

Just wanted to share my experience with this dealer!

I just came back from there about an hour ago.
I have a creeking noise in my suspension and they could not duplicate the noise.
When I got home, guess what, the noise was still there.

Overall, I think the service has got a little better since I bought my car there in 2002.

Bobby, who did you deal with. I usually deal with Linda.

I'm giving agincourt another try. I'm due for my 24000 service. I've got an appointment on thursday. It should be pretty straight forward. I bought the car from them on 2004 but I've never gone back for service. I used to see Jerry when he was at yorkville. I really want to go to oakville infiniti but I can't wait. It's supposed to be sunny this weekend.

I'll post a followup when I get it back on thursday.

Also...

Just wondering if anyone had their 24k maintainance there with the diff fluid change done at agincourt? If so, how much did it cost?

thanks in advance

I dealt with Paul. Though I did speak with Linda and we set up another appointment to do the fuel filler tube recall. I have to admit this was my first time going to a dealer and everything was fine.

35bills, is the noise coming from the rear?

When I accelerate in first gear, over 5000rpm it sounds like metal on metal is banging from the rear. Only happens in first gear. I've heard the rear clicking once a while too at very slow speeds - as per the warranty issue. Could the sound during acceleration be due to the warranty issue? BTW sorry to semi-hijack the thread, thanks!

The noise seems to be comming from the rear of the car. It occurs when I turn into my driveway. It only happens when I'm entering up a steep incline(ie: turning in to my driveway), the suspension compresses in the rear and a creaking noise occurs.

BTW, I have the aero pkg.

I'm just wondering if one of my shocks is kaput? I just think that its abit early( 64K) for a shock to be done.

Maybe time for an upgrade!!!

Bill, has your rear sway bar ever been lubed??
You could be forcing it into a dry spot in the bushing.

35bills I had that happen to my car as well. They replaced the stabilizer links in the rear and the creeks went away.

Naw ... Agincourt Infiniti is hit & miss. First time I went there for my tranny problems they took care of me really well.

I went back a second time for my squeeling brakes / scoured rotors ... they treated me like **** and charged me $45 just to look at them, and told me I need the 'brake maint' for $270, telling me my calipers were dirty and seized. (I went home and removed my rims to look at them, they were fine)

Yes, it's pretty easy with jack stands...
The bushings are held in place by a U braket (x2) with 2 bolts.

Almost any grease will do, but...
The grease should be a hi pressure type that stays in place better
(doesn't walk out from under bushing as quickly)

I use a synthetic lithium complex by...drum roll please... Amsoil

I have only had experience with Amsoil synthetic greases, but as I was saying to Ian earlier today I am absolutely sold on them. I have done comparisons and as a result have been using their synthetic greases since the early 80's.
