Hey, sorry for the late reply. ZAIO is nice; it's a very easy to use chemical cleaner and sealant base. It'll be great under Z2/Z5.

Z-CS I am not so crazy about. I actually like the buffing off process with sealants/waxes, and it is sort of finicky to apply. I also thought it looked just like Z2pro, so eh...

Hey Kevin... nice to see they finally passed the rather lengthy 'inspection' process and got delivered to you! Very cool.

Clay bar is magic

Well Kevin,

I finally put all your teachings to use today. I took a deep breathe and proceeded with a clay barring of my car and WOW feels like new paint again.

I first washed the car (in my garage as always) then quick dry with drying towel. Using 1/2 quick detailer (Mothers Showtime) and water, I went to town and followed your instructions to the T and what a finish.

I then went back and put on the Mazerna FMJ with my new PC and followed with a quick HGAS and voila mirror finish. Only mistake was letting the HGAS dry on some spots but I just went back and resprayed them.

Thanks again for all your help

Nice, really nice. I needed my sunglasses to take a close look when I clicked the first pic.

Peter, you certainly did a good job of distracting me.
I towed my boat home from storage and was going to work on it.
Well after looking at your awesome pics, I had to wash the G, I even started applying a coat of Z2 . All I did was the back end and one rear fender. Now time to hit the shower and head out for dinner. At least you got me started

Yep, our grass is not that green and buds are barely out. It's still very cold out. Just washed the car and nearly froze.
