G35.ca Vancouver Meet
Date: Sunday, May 21, 2006 (Weather permitting)
Time: 12:00pm (Noon)
Location: Large Parking Lot on south side of W.4th Ave just before NW Marine Dr (the street that turns right to head towards Jericho Beach)
This meet is primarily for G35's & 350Z's. M's & FX's are also welcome. Other JDM Nissans (i.e. R32 Skylines, S13 & S14 Silvias) are certainly welcome to attend.
Here's the plan:
12:00 noon - Meet up at the 4th Ave parking lot just before the right turn off to Kits Beach. Meet and greet with fellow members. Photo session.
Around 1:30PM - 2:00PM - Start the group cruise heading east along W. 4th Ave, then head north on Burrard St over the Burrard St Bridge, cruise thru Robson St to Denman, and head over the Lions Gate Bridge, up Taylor Way to Hwy 1, and head west to Lions Bay, stop at the cafe for some juice/pop, and then continue heading into Squamish. Stop at the McDonalds there right on Sea to Sky Hwy for some afternoon snack food and stretch the legs. More photos if time permits. And then head back.
6:30PM - Dinner at Boathouse Restaurant at Horseshoe Bay (optional).
Again, as always, please wash your car prior to the meet to ensure it is presentable for photo taking. Recommended for those who have FRS Radios (i.e. Walkie Talkie) to bring them in case we get caught between traffic lights during the group cruise and for us to maintain communications. Also, if we could have some members bring digi-video camcorders to tape some footages, that would be great.
