Great Drives
To all those in Canada looking for one of the best spots in Eastern Canada to REALLY enjoy their ride, may I suggest two in Nova Scotia.
1. Halifax to Peggy's Cove via the old road. Take it in the evening or early morning when there is no traffic (watch out for the tour buses). Thank God for traction control!
2. The Cabot Trail counter clockwise from North Sydney to Canso. The trip through the highlands is like parts of Switzerland - only a lot cheaper! Drove it on the Labour day weekend. Left Cheticamp behind two chaps in an MGB and used them as a blocker (110km/hr in an 80km/hr zone). Let them take a long lead on the straights so I could catch-up on the corners. Great fun - even with the family on board. Bonus - averaged 30miles per gallon!
Enjoy your G no matter where you are.
