TireTrends Experience

I just wanted to let people know that I had a good experience dealing with TireTrends. I am from the East Coast and was able to get the tires ordered in the time frame they promised.

I dealt with Tire Trends last year on a purchase of a Hankook K104 replacement tire. The TT representative (Arch?) was super. Excellent customer service.

Hi and thank you for the welcome. I have been a lurker for at least a year. I was going to buy a RX 8 or G35 . I had just about made up my mind to go with the Mazda when I heard about the 2003 G35 with 16,000 kms so in the end I got the car I origionally wanted.Purchase was last spring and I was able to get 25,000 on the michelins. The front do have lots of thread remaining but I decided to go with the Avon Tech 550 A/S .It is nice to have quiet tires and I can live with less performance. I wanted to extend the driving season a wee bit without worry if a bit of snow fell while out and about. BTW I live on PEI

BMC, I just got the same K104's about 2 months ago after having both Michelins and Toyos previously. So far so good but how many miles do you have on your K104's and how's the wear and ride compared to your OEM's. Thanks

I've put about 9 months of driving on the K104's. Unfortunately I can't give a relevant wear/ride comparo to the OEM's because I bought my 2004 Sedan used and just when winter was kicking in. So, within a couple weeks of purchasing it I got rid of the OEM Turanzas and threw on Blizzaks on the OEM 17 wheels.

I was riding the K104's on a 245/45-18 setup, so I guess the ride wasn't as firm as say, a 245/40-18 setup (most forum members seem to prefer the 40 setup over the 45). I was lowered on Eibachs so it's hard to attribute ride quality to the change in springs or tires.

I just sold my G sedan but will be throwing on PS2's or Toyo's on my new Z when I upgrade to 19's.
