Adirondacks Vacation Meet
Can I suggest that we plan it in such a way that those of us who cannot take a full week can do a Fri - Mon run and the ones who want to stick around can finish off the week.
Lake Placid is a great starting place and another great stop is Lake George. Filling up the ferry with G's accross Lake Champlain and then into Stowe VT would also be a great sight. I guess is all comes down to how hard you want to push. Thats alot of running but some great sights.

Those are some great stops Eric. Went through them all at least 15 years ago.
We'll have to figure out a meeting point for us East Coasters so we can travel together for those few days you guys can be around.

We have a cabin/camp in St Albans VT that we visit ~3 times a season. Like I mentioned in the other thread maybe if I can piggyback this on to one of those trips I will be able to make it!

Have you thought about a route yet Deane?
I would pressume you'd cut across Maine?
If so, L.Placid might make sense as a starting point for the east & west G trains to hook up.

I think I missed your post Ian.
Haven't planned a route yet but nearly certain to cut across Maine. I'm hoping to hook up with Shane if he and his wife can fit into their schedule. Lake Placid might work great to start after my wife gets her fix in North Conway. Of course the car may be loaded right down.

My wife has to make plans soon for a couple of summer courses and we want to plan to be part of the group. Therefore I'll start.
How does July 22 sound as a date to meet in Lake Placid?
