Question about carputer

i see this on ebay....

http://cgi.ebay.com/Carputer-GPS-voice-Wireless-Internet-7-touch-screen_W0QQitemZ260062627370QQihZ016QQcategoryZ79834QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item260062627370

500 for everything... doesnt seem that bad. Think it would look tacky if i just put it on my dash instead of the place where the oem nav would of went.

Also for getting sound from the computer would it require me cutting wires or anything? its a lease and i dont want to do anything that wouldnt let me put it back to stock lateron.

I knew you were still around somewhere, amthar.

And I agree, it would look pretty tacky. There are much better ways of putting a carputer in your G, from a premade one, to building one yourself. Check out posts by myself, amthar, nm3th, gixsf, and a couple of others, for examples.

Yeah, getting married and just bought a 104 year old historic house that needs a sh*tload of work... I get to enjoy driving the car but that's about it these days... car PC doesn't even work As soon as the weather warms up I'm going to make time to finish all of these loose projects... sigh

I try to pop in here when I remember and answer the random private IMs... what's disappointing is when everytime I check the audio forums, it's the same questions and same problems being posted everytime I look.

True, no one bothers to search, and everyone thinks their problem is a brand new one that no one has ever had before.

Oh well.
