modified xbox carputer

I have a modified xbox w/ xbox media center and a 300 gig hd. If you know how to modify an xbox it is a great low cost solution. It uses the xbox dvd remote, gives you control over all your music, pics, video, and games w/o needing to put in a dvd at all. Also you have a dvd player and game player if someone brings one into your car. It also has all the visualizations that you could hope for while still showing your album info and cover art. If you hook it up to the internet, it can d/l info on any movie or cd you put in. It can also d/l music videos off of yahoo and internet radio off of shoutcast. I don't see a need to hook up the internet in a car because well you arent in the same spot for long enough. The only downside is no gps, but I have a built in nav and use the screen for both w/ the video switcher being the cig lighter (down is nav. up is external fun) All my external toys run off the alpine v-hub, but you could do the same thing w/ a lower cost solution such as AVElectronics box. In fact I would recommend it since the Alpine unit doesn't provide anything to special in its package except I could hook up my xm unit to it and control it w/ the same remote control.
