Stained wheels

Hi,

I have the forged aluminum 19's that come with the 2005 6mt's. Anyways, it looks like they have ink on them. There streaks on all four wheels. I've tried all sorts of stuff and the ink or what ever it is doesnt seem to come off. Any ideas on what I should try?

So far I've tried a few off the shelf wheel cleaners, car polish, windex, SOS steel wool(bad idea by the way, dont try it on the aluminum rims), and gasoline.

The ink or what ever it is, is faded, it kind of looks like it was absorbed by the aluminum, and not matter how many times I scrub it doesnt come off.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks,

Jason

Is it like black water streak mark under the clear coat? If so do not bother, go to dealer and ask for replacement. I got mine done, all four wheels replaced after less then 1 year. Is a defect, the paint did not cure properly when they sprayed the clearcoat on the rim
